As a club we saw Week 5 of the college baseball season as the most productive week thus far.  The offensive numbers skyrocketed this week hitting for a combined batting average of .322 (102/317), scoring 75 runs, 69 rbi, 17 doubles and a power surge of 17 home runs.  Congrats to all of our guys on a great week. 

 

Pitcher of the Week:

Gradin Taschner:  Madison College:  Wichita State Commit

The redshirt freshman at Madison College delivered a solid performance going 5 innings, allowing 3 hits, striking out 6 and allowing 1 earned run.   

 

Offensive Player of the Week:

Brady Davidson:  Heartland Community College

The freshman at Heartland had a monster week going 13/26 at the plate including 8 runs scored, 9 rbi, 2 doubles, a homerun and walked 8 times. 

 

Freshman of the Week:   

Noah Drier:  Saint Xavier University 

Another Freshman with a big week with the bat, Noah was 7 for 15 including 6 runs scored, 6 rbi a double and 3 homers.

5 ip, 7 hits, 1R, 1ER and 6 strikeouts

 

Offensive:  Dylan Nevar:  Western Michigan  

7 for 13, 7 runs, 9 rbi, 3 homeruns

 

Freshman:  Dominic Kibler:  Kent State  

5 for 14, 4 runs, 6 rbi, 1 2b, 1 HR
