Under the instruction of STiKS’ lead hitting coach Ryan Hollander and six-year MiLB utility player Trevor Schwecke, hitters will work to optimize connection using Blast Motion and other advanced training tools. Drill work—drawn from professional systems used by the Toronto Blue Jays and Philadelphia Phillies—will be individually tailored to address each hitter’s specific offensive needs. The primary focus is on improving early connection, leading to more consistent ball flight through the heart of the field.

By working with STiKS’ lead hitting coach Ryan Hollander and six-year MiLB utility player Trevor Schwecke, hitters will improve bat speed through science-backed, data-driven training. This class is designed to enhance both bat speed and launch quickness (time to impact). By optimizing these elements, hitters can generate more power while also gaining additional time for pitch recognition and decision-making.

Catchers will go through a comprehensive mobility and strengthening routine at the beginning of each workout. High school fall classes will have more of a focus on learning the basics of receiving and learning the benefits of one knee down catching. At the end of each workout players will go through a conditioning portion to build up their lower half for the rigors of the upcoming season. Catchers should bring their catcher’s gear, athletic clothing (baseball pants optional), tennis shoes, and glove.
