Week 9 of the college baseball season was highlighted by some exceptional individual performances and as a group it was by far the most productive week of the year.  As a group our alumni collected 141 hits including 15 home runs.  The arms were also active, compiling 96 innings on the mound while striking out 83 batters on the week.  Congrats on a great week.  

Pitcher of the Week: 

Carson Fluno:  Louisiana Lafayette 

Carson carried a no-hitter through 7 innings in his win against Marshal.  He finished with 7ip, 1 hit, 0 runs and struck out 5.     

Offensive Player of the Week:

Noah Drier:  St. Xavier

To say Drier had a productive week would be an understatement as the Freshman continued to add on to an already solid freshman year.  Noah went 11 for 29 at the plate, scoring 6 times and driving in an unbelievable 16 runs this week.  5 of 11 of his hits this week went for extra bases collecting 3 doubles and 2 home runs.   

Freshman of the Week:   

Camden Broske:  Madison College

Broske made 2 appearances in relief last week for the Wolfpack and made the most out of his opportunities throwing 9 innings only allowing 1 hit, 0 runs and struck out 4 batters.   

Honorable Mention:

Pitcher: Micahel Carpenter:  Madison College

7 ip, 1 hit, 0 runs, 11 strikeouts and 1 BB.    

Offensive:  Dylan Nevar:  Western Michigan 

8 for 14, 4 runs, 6 RBI, 1 double, 1 triple, 1 home run. 

Freshman:  Brayden Pleau:  Bryant Stratton 

9 for 20 including 2 doubles and drove in 3.
