Congrats on a great week of college baseball.  Week 12 was highlighted by a couple of key performances by our alumni.  

Pitcher of the Week: 

Michael Carpenter:  Madison College  

Carpenter was masterful again last week compiling his 6th shutout of the season.  He worked 7 innings, allowing 2 hits, 0 runs and had 11 strikeouts.   

 

Offensive Player of the Week:

Carson Hansen:  University Wisconsin Milwaukee

Carson continued his torrid stretch this week for the Panthers and was named for a historic 3rd straight week as Horizon League hitter of the week.  9 for 19, 8 runs scored and 10 runs batted in.  Including 2 doubles and an HR.  

 

 

Freshman of the Week:   

Connor Olson:  UW Stevens Point  

Not going to find many freshman that have been on a hotter stretch than Olson.  The young Pointer had another productive week going 7 for 25, scoring 5 times, driving in 10 runs including 2 homeruns.

Pitcher:   Nolan Vincent:  MSOE

6 innings pitched. 4 hits. 0 runs.  10 strikeouts.  Winning pitcher of record.  

 

Offensive:  Dylan Nevar:  Western Michigan  

6 for 20. 6 runs scored. 8 rbi.  1 double.  3 HR’s.  

 

Freshman:  Brayden Pleau:  Bryant Stratton College

8 for 18.  6 runs scored.  3 rbi.  2 doubles.
