Week 11 of the college baseball season did not disappoint as the alumni bats were on fire once again this past week.  A strong collective performance by the group led to 130 hits, 99 runs scored, 96 rbi and 15 home runs outperforming week 10 results.  Week 11 also saw another career record broken by Dylan Nevar at Western Michigan.  Congrats to all of our former guys getting it done on the diamond this spring.

Pitcher of the Week: Rory Fox:  University of Notre Dame

No stranger to our weekly recaps, Rory had another stellar weekend start on the mound for the Irish.  Earning the Win vs Cal, Fox worked 6 innings allowing 2 hits and no runs while striking out 6 in his outing.  

Hitter of the Week:  Bradyn Nelson:  Bryant Stratton

The freshman outfielder had a monster week for the Bobcats going 11 for 25 at the plate.  Nelson scored 13 runs and also drove in 13 runs throughout the week.  Seven of the 11 hits went for extra bases as he had 1 double, 1 triple and 5 home runs.  

Notable Performances:  

Dylan Nevar:  Western Michigan:  6 for 17, 4 runs, 5 rbi, 2-doubles, 1 HR.  Broke the career record for total bases at Western Michigan.

Logan Schill:  UW Oshkosh:  10 for 31, 10 runs, 4 rbi, 3-doubles, 1-triple, 1-HR

Vince Zipperer:  Cornell College:  13 for 23, 6 runs, 4 rbi, 4-doubles

Ashton Kampa:  Bryant Stratton: 10 for 27, 8 runs, 15 rbi, 2-doubles, 2- HR’s

Brayden Pleau:  Bryant Stratton:  11 for 31, 10 runs, 3 rbi, 2-doubles
