Week 14 of the college season saw the last of the regular season play for the Division 1 teams and playoffs continuing for all other divisions.  Congrats to a couple of former players (2) who advanced to D3 Super Regionals and several (6) who advanced to Junior College World Series events.  Also wanted to congratulate a number of seniors on fantastic careers in college.

Pitcher of the Week: Matthew Mueller:  UW Milwaukee:  

Mueller was quite efficient for the Panthers this weekend as the Lefty hurler went 2 innings, didn’t allow a hit and struck out 5.   

Hitter of the Week:  Thomas Curry:  University Illinois Chicago:

Curry finished off the regular season red hot this past weekend for the Flames.  Thomas was 9 for 15 at the plate, scoring 8 runs, drove in 2 and added 2 doubles and a Homerun.
